Buy and install through the app at home, on household wi-fi, before the trip starts. The profile needs a connection to download, and that is exactly what a departing traveller stops having. Buy the maritime package ahead of boarding too. Switch it on only once the ship has left port and reached international waters. It is built for sea, not for the dock. On a ship inside Telenor Maritime’s fleet this is one of the cheapest reliable ways to get real data at sea, and the pricing could hardly be simpler. Its operator list is the genuine selling point, covering AIDA, Costa, Cunard and several European ferry brands that plainer at-sea sellers skip. The limits are equally plain. Only two package sizes exist, so a heavy user empties one quickly. And the moment a ship falls outside that named list, the plan is worth nothing.
