Cruise ship connectivity, vessel by vessel
Short answer
Search the 186 hulls below for your own ship, not your cruise line. Booking with a covered brand tells you very little: sister ships in the same fleet often differ, and the one you are sailing on is the only one that matters.
If it is here, the entry says which providers name it. If it is missing, that is not a no — it means nobody has published it yet, and the free trial will settle it in a minute once you are aboard. Either way, install before you leave home.
How to check your own ship properly
Three providers publish vessel lists and they do not agree with each other. A ship on GigSky’s list may be absent from eSIM.dog’s, and vice versa. Before you buy:
- Find your ship by name below, not your cruise line.
- Open the provider’s own list and confirm the exact hull — the lists change as installations complete.
- Install the free GigSky 100 MB trial before you sail and confirm it connects once you are past twelve nautical miles. That is the only test that actually settles it.
The six biggest ships afloat
The vessels most people are asking about, and the ones we hold the most detail on. Every figure below is per hull, not per fleet.

Every other vessel we can name
180 more ships and ferries, grouped by operator. Each vessel is tagged with the provider lists it appears on, and with Starlink where we have confirmed it — so nothing here needs a legend to read.

A missing tag means we cannot confirm it from that provider’s published list — not that coverage is absent. Starlink is shown only for vessels we have researched directly.
Ship coverage FAQ
01Why does the ship matter more than the cruise line?+
Because maritime equipment is fitted vessel by vessel, not fleet by fleet. A line can advertise Starlink across its fleet while a newly delivered ship, or one recently transferred from a sister brand, is still waiting for the installation. "My line is on the list" and "my ship is on the list" are different statements, and only the second one gets you online.
02How do I check whether my exact ship is covered?+
Check the provider’s own vessel list before you buy, not the marketing page. GigSky, Saily and eSIM.dog each publish a list of covered ships, and they do not match each other — a vessel on one may be missing from the others. The list below shows which of the ships we track appear on which provider’s published list.
03Does Starlink on my ship mean my eSIM will be faster?+
No. Starlink is the ship’s backhaul for its own Wi-Fi. A maritime eSIM connects to the ship’s cellular network, which is a separate system with its own capacity. A Starlink-equipped ship has much better Wi-Fi than it used to; it does not make the cellular side faster.
04My ship is not on this list. Does that mean it has no coverage?+
Not necessarily — it means we have not been able to name it from a provider’s published list. This page covers the vessels we can verify, not every ship afloat. Check your provider’s own list for the specific hull before assuming either way.
