What connectivity is like in the Mexican Riviera

Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Ensenada from Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. The run down the Baja peninsula is mostly open Pacific with long stretches out of range, so sea-day coverage matters more than on a Caribbean loop. Two different questions. A maritime eSIM works at sea on a Mexican Riviera cruise because it uses the ship’s cellular network; an ordinary eSIM works only until the ship is about 12 nautical miles offshore and then shows no service until the next port. Budget for both, sized to the 40% sea-day share this region typically carries.

02Does one Mexico eSIM cover the whole Mexican Riviera?

03Why did I get charged US roaming in Ensenada?
