One caveat in fairness to the ship: hotspot sharing drains the host phone’s battery, and a single eSIM allowance is shared between everyone using it. If four people all want to stream, ship Wi-Fi’s per-device model is the more predictable buy.

One port worth knowing about
Celebrity calls at a lot of smaller Caribbean and Greek islands where a single local carrier holds the whole market. Coverage there is fine but roaming agreements are narrower than on the mainland, so the country list on your chosen variant matters more than usual. Check the island, not just the country it belongs to.
