Short answer
There is no minimum spend and nothing to qualify for. The code is ours alone, it applies to all 79 plans in the cruise catalogue, and it is already in the link — you do not have to type it or remember it at checkout.
Before you use it, check your wallet. GigSky discounts its plans 30% for US Visa Infinite cardholders and 20% for Visa Signature, Platinum, Gold and Classic. Those beat our 10%, and if you qualify you should take the bigger saving — the two cannot be combined. One caveat that matters here more than anywhere: the complimentary data those cards also carry is a global land plan and does not include cruise coverage, so it will not connect at sea.
What the GigSky promo code applies to
GigSky is the only provider selling maritime data across more than 290 cruise ships, and the only one with ferry-branded plans for Brittany Ferries, Color Line, DFDS and Stena Line. ESIMDUDE works across that whole range. That matters more than the headline percentage, because most eSIM coupon codes you will find for cruises apply to ordinary country plans that stop working the moment the ship leaves port.
There are three shapes of plan, and the code discounts all of them:
- Cruise + Land — data at sea plus local networks in the ports on your itinerary. One purchase covers the whole trip, and it is what most cruisers want.
- Cruise Only — at-sea data with nothing on land. Cheaper, and sensible if you already hold a regional eSIM for port days.
- Ferry plans — sold by operator for North Sea, Baltic and Channel crossings, where the ship is on a fixed route rather than an itinerary.

What 10% off actually saves
Ten per cent sounds modest until you see it against maritime pricing, which is far higher than ordinary travel eSIM pricing because the data goes through satellite. These are live GigSky prices, with the code applied:

The comparison that matters is not against other eSIMs, though — it is against the ship. Cruise line Wi-Fi runs roughly $16–40 per device per day, and it is billed per device, so a couple with two phones pays twice. A GigSky plan is shareable over your phone’s hotspot, which means one purchase covers the cabin.

The bigger GigSky discount most people miss
GigSky runs a cardholder programme with Visa that is worth more than our code, and it is poorly advertised — most people who qualify never claim it. If you hold an eligible US Visa card, this is what you get:

In the US, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean the Infinite tiers go further still, with progressive discounts of 30%, then 40%, then 50% — one plan at each level. Cardholders also have up to 365 days to activate a plan they have bought before it auto-activates, which is genuinely useful if you are booking a cruise months out.
The catch, and the reason our code still has a job: the Visa benefit only works inside the GigSky app, with the eligible Visa set as your default payment method, and it is verified against your card. ESIMDUDE works at ordinary web checkout on any card, in any country. If you are outside the US, paying with a non-Visa card, or buying for someone else, our code is the one that applies. And you cannot use both.
Use the free trial before you spend anything
GigSky gives 100 MB free for 7 days with no card and no auto-charge. Install it before you sail. Maritime coverage depends on your specific ship’s satellite equipment, and while GigSky lists 290+ vessels, the honest position is that performance varies between a Starlink-equipped ship and an older installation. The trial tells you which you are on for nothing, and there is no version of buying first that is smarter than that.
One thing to expect: the maritime network does not appear the moment you board. It switches on roughly 12 nautical miles offshore — usually about an hour after the ship leaves port. Data not working at the terminal is normal, not a fault, and not a reason to request a refund.
When the code will not help you
Three cases, stated plainly. If your sailing is short on sea days and heavy on ports, a good regional eSIM will cost you far less than any maritime plan, discounted or not — buy the region, not the cruise plan. If your ship is not on GigSky’s vessel list, the plan will not connect at sea and the discount is irrelevant. And if you only need to send a message a day, the ship’s own messaging pass is sometimes cheaper than a data plan, though it will not carry maps, email or anything else.
Our recommendation for most cruisers is unchanged: an at-sea eSIM or a minimal ship Wi-Fi package for sea days, plus any good regional eSIM for port days. The coupon makes the first part cheaper. It does not change which part you need.

01What is the GigSky coupon code for cruise plans?+
ESIMDUDE takes 10% off every GigSky cruise and ferry plan. It is our own code rather than a public sale, it has no minimum spend, and it applies to Cruise + Land, Cruise Only and the ferry-branded plans alike. Enter it in the promo field at GigSky checkout.
02Is there a bigger GigSky discount than 10%?+
On the discount, often yes: US Visa Infinite cardholders get 30% off and Visa Signature, Platinum, Gold and Classic cardholders get 20%, which beats our 10%. Take the bigger saving. But read the free-data part carefully — the complimentary allowance that comes with Visa Infinite and Signature is a GLOBAL LAND plan and does not include cruise coverage, so it will not connect at sea. It is useful in port and useless on a sea day. The Visa benefit also only works inside the GigSky app with the eligible Visa as your default payment method; our code works at ordinary web checkout, on any card, in any country.
03Can I stack ESIMDUDE with the Visa cardholder discount?+
No. They are two separate discount mechanisms on two different checkouts, and GigSky applies one at a time. Work out which is worth more on the plan you actually want — for most US Visa cardholders that is the Visa benefit, and for everyone else it is our code.
04Does the code work on the free GigSky trial?+
There is nothing to discount — the trial is 100 MB free for 7 days with no card required. Install it first and confirm your ship’s maritime network works for you, then buy a paid plan with the code. Testing before you spend is the whole point of the trial.
05Is the GigSky coupon still working?+
We last checked it on August 2026. Codes can be pulled without notice; when one stops working we remove it rather than leave it up for the clicks. If it fails at checkout, tell us and we will re-test it.
